Subject: Family connection to Little Downham

I have been reseraching my late mother's side of the family and discovered that her father's Aunt Sarah H Cox lived in Little Downham according to the 1911 census. She lived in Main Street with another widow (she herself was a widow) called Annie Maria Royal who was a shopkeeper.
I have a couple of photos of my Great Great Aunt Sarah taken in 1934, 4 years before she died, standing outside a cottage in Little Downham.
Sarah and her husband I believe are both buried in St Leonard's Churchyard but a friend tried to find their graves recently but was unsuccessful.

Subject: Pymoor Ancestry

I was very pleased to see your publication on Little Downham. I was born in Pymoor in 1927 and have been compiling my ancestry for a number of years. My mother and father are both burried in Little Downham so I have a very great interest in what you are doing.

The Little Downham Wikipedia is basically empty, someone should really start expanding it.

Subject: Fens Ancestry

I am a partial product of the Fens .My Gfthe and Gmthr were living on the 100ft bank before emigrating to AUS.
My GGfthr was born in Stretham and ,I think ,there are 3 generations before him also from Stretham.
Thank you for the opportunity to touch life in Downham.
